Ned David Award

The IDRLRA major award each year is the Ned David Award. It is the equivalent of a Club Person of the year award.

Ned David Award is presented to the member who is deemed to have provided extraordinary service to the Association going above and beyond that required of any official position that he or she has undertaken in that year.

The Award is named after our second Life Member, Ned David, who, although not undertaking any formal Executive positions, was recognised as an extraordinary contributor to the Association's success and well-being during the term of his membership. There is only one other higher honour that a member can be bestowed and that is Life Membership.
